Ladies Banana Belt returns

The Ladies Banana Belt Bonspiel is returning for the first time in two years and 70th since its inception as a marquee event on the women’s section calendar at Welland Curl- ing Club. Rinks from Grimsby, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines as well as the host club will each play eight ends and a final game after lunch Monday, Feb. 13. This year’s theme, Galentines, will give women a chance to celebrate their friendships, organizer Sharon Ker said.
