FREI, Roy Anthony

June 26, 1946 - January 31, 2023

Surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home Roy passed away at age of 76 yrs. He will be missed by his wife Sandy Frei (Santina Coss) of 53 years and his sons John Anthony Frei, Christopher Joseph Frei and wife Rose who was like a daughter to him and his nephew Jason Andrew Greene and wife Claire and children Sebastian, Thiago, Sienna. Also, Roy will be missed by his older brother Roger Frei and (wife Angie) who shared the love of nature and fishing together in childhood as well as adulthood. He also shared with is deceased sister Wendy Bulanda the love of the mountains and Rockies. Her children Traci Bergman, John Bulanda, and Noelle always kept in touch and saw him before few days before he passed. Roy was always seeking the next adventure in the outdoors. In his youth in Canada he also enjoyed skiing and in Florida sailing in the sun dominated his life. Especially, in the recent years hiking, fishing and canoeing in the Canadian summer and Florida winter with Pepper his teacup poodle (deceased) and his four legged buddy Teddy whom is left behind. It brings me great comfort to know that Roy will not be alone but be reunited with his little dog Pepper his companion of 14 years. Thank you to his palliative care team, especially Barbara and Dr. Scher. Williams Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. At Roy's request, no formal service will be held. Cremation will take place and his remains will be scattered amongst his favorite places. If desired, donations in Roy's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
