It is with heavy hearts that we announce of the passing of Mark Frederick Moody on January 26th, 2023, at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband to Saphire and stepdad to Jaxson. Mark was predeceased by his father Ernest. Survived by his mother Marilyn (Jake), his brothers and sisters Wayne (Margaret), Sharon, Beverly (Ken), Rick (Donna), Kathy (Bill), Laurie and his many nieces and nephews. Mark was born and raised in Niagara Falls, On, and moved to Alberta in 2008. Mark served as a Corrections Officer at the Grande Cache Institution since 2010. He was a skilled handy-man and enjoyed completing many home renovation projects and spending quality time with Saphire and their dog Thor. He was a big guy, with an even bigger heart and he will be sadly missed by all his friends and family in Niagara. In accordance with Mark's wishes, there will be no service. A private cremation has taken place. In memory of Mark, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
