Enough is enough on council pay

Re: Welland city council pay set to climb again, May 19

When we read the article, we had to make sure it was not April 1.

Was 47 per cent in 2020 not enough to sustain you for another three or four years? Nurses are being held to one per cent yearly.

Gas, food, housing, utilities, etc. are at an all-time high. We cannot believe anyone in their right mind would even suggest another increase. What a slap in the face to all citizens of Welland.

Enough is enough.
