After getting the boot in Season 3 of “The Bachelor Canada,” Niagara’s Lisa Mancini will go looking for love again this October.

The 28-year-old professional cosplayer from St. Catharines is among 26 hopefuls for the inaugural season of “Bachelor in Paradise Canada,” premiering Oct. 10 on Citytv.

She’ll appear alongside a mix of Canadian and American alumni of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” along with 14 Canadian fans selected from the #BachelorNation fan base.

The spinoff show gathers a mix of men and women at an isolated ‘paradise’ location. Like the original shows, contestants are eliminated via a ‘rose ceremony,’ but differs in that each season ends with multiple couples.

A spokesperson for the show said Mancini and other contestants are not allowed to give interviews “until their potential exit from the show.”

The show has already filmed all episodes at an undisclosed Ontario location.

As a cosplayer, Mancini appears at comic conventions and special events as a variety of characters, such as Daenerys Targaryen from “Game of Thrones” and Starfire from “Teen Titans.” One of her specialties is Ariel from “The Little Mermaid.”

Niagara filmmaker Reece Fisher has worked with Mancini on several projects and said her confidence and “amazing creativity” should stand out on the show.

“She’s smart, funny and very supportive of her friends,” he said. “It’s always a great feeling when you see a friend take on opportunities like this and I know that however her experience was on the show, we’re in for some awesome moments.”

In her 30-second promo for the show, Mancini said she’ll bring all her “superpowers” to the season.

“Just like Elsa, I’m going to let it all go in Paradise.”

During her season of “The Bachelor Canada,” Mancini was eliminated during the fifth episode, which aired Nov. 8, 2017. The season’s bachelor was retired Canadian baseball player Chris Leroux.

“Bachelor in Paradise Canada” will be hosted by Jesse Jones and features singles aged 25 to 37. It starts with a twohour episode Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. on Citytv and Citytv.com

Mancini is the second Niagara woman to be featured on reality TV this fall.

Erika Casupanan of Niagara Falls is among the players on the new season of “Survivor” which premieres Sept. 22.
